Q1: How will I know if the product I ordered a year ago has been updated?
A1: We maintain version control for our products. Any significant material or performance updates that affect specifications would be communicated to active clients. For re-orders, we confirm that the product is being made to the same specification as your original order.
Q2: What happens if an improvement is made that lowers the cost? Do previous customers benefit?
A2: Cost savings from process improvements allow us to remain competitive. Pricing for new orders is always based on current costs. We do not retroactively adjust prices for past orders, but repeat customers benefit from our ongoing efficiency through stable, competitive pricing.
Q3: Can I request to use an older version of a material if I prefer it?
A3: If an older material has been phased out for a superior or more sustainable alternative, it is typically no longer available. We would provide samples of the new material and explain its benefits to ensure it meets your project requirements.
Q4: What is your policy on discontinuing a product line that I use regularly?
A4: We provide at least 6 months’ notice before discontinuing a standard product line, allowing you to place a final order. We also aim to offer a comparable alternative and can discuss transitioning your specifications to the new product.
Q5: Does a minor product tweak restart the warranty clock on existing inventory?
A5: No, the warranty period is tied to the original shipment date of the specific batch of panels you received, not to product revisions. Any new version of the product would carry its own warranty from its shipment date.
