Q1: If I share a proprietary design for custom panels, how do you protect it?
A1: We are willing to sign a standard Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before reviewing sensitive designs. We treat all client-provided designs as confidential and use them solely for the purpose of fulfilling your specific order.
Q2: Who owns the copyright to a custom panel design we develop collaboratively?
A2: Typically, the client retains ownership of the original design they provide. Any design developed collaboratively would have ownership terms defined in a separate development agreement prior to the start of the work.
Q3: Can you produce a design that is patented by another company if I have a license?
A3: We require written proof of your license to use the patented design. Upon verification, we can proceed with manufacturing your order under the standard MOQ and lead time terms.
Q4: What happens to my design files after production is complete?
A4: We securely archive design files for a reasonable period to facilitate potential re-orders. Upon request, we can delete the files or return them to you after order fulfillment, as specified in an NDA or service agreement.
Q5: If I see a design in your portfolio, can I order the same for myself?
A5: Portfolios showcase work done for specific clients. We cannot replicate another client’s custom design without their express permission, as it is their intellectual property. We would instead work with you to create a new, unique design.
