Q1: Are your panels approved for use in public transportation projects like airports or train stations?
A1: Our panels can meet the required fire, smoke, and toxicity (FST) ratings for many such applications. However, each project has unique specifications. We require the exact performance standard (e.g., EN 45545-2 for rail) and can then confirm compliance or develop a custom solution, subject to project MOQ.
Q2: Do you have UL certification for the US market?
A2: Our products are tested to ASTM E84 (Class A) standards. A full UL certification involves ongoing factory audits and listing. We can provide compliant products, but if a project specifically requires a UL label, we would need to discuss the feasibility and associated timelines and costs.
Q3: What about certification for cleanrooms or sensitive electronic manufacturing environments?
A3: Standard panels are low-particulate but not certified for cleanrooms. For such environments, we would need to develop a product with specialized coatings and packaging, which constitutes a significant custom development project.
Q4: How long does it take to obtain a specific certification if we need it for our project?
A4: Obtaining a new third-party certification can take 3-6 months and involves testing, documentation, and audits. This timeline is separate from and additional to our standard 7-14 day production lead time. It requires a firm commitment and likely a dedicated production run.
Q5: Is there a higher MOQ for products that must carry a specific certification mark?
A5: Often, yes. Certifying a specific product line involves fixed costs. To amortize these, a higher project MOQ (e.g., 300-500 sqm) is typically required to make the certification process viable for that specific order.
